What is a Lawyers Line  Writer?
Our writers are real people, just like you, who want to share their knowledge and passion with others. They are committed to bringing creative and informative content to others throughout the world. Our writers are enthusiastic about writing and dedicated to sharing their unique voice through their original literary works.

What are the benefits of becoming a Lawyers Line Writer?
Here are just a few of the many benefits of being a Lawyers Line writer:

  • Share your creativity, opinions, talents and interests with people from all over the world. You may choose from our many categories and subcategories to write about. Select one or several areas of interest and write as often as you’d like. It’s up to you!
  • Build your literary reputation. Writing for a well established and respected website such as Lawyersline.net, gives you the portal for developing a literary reputation for yourself. As your literary reputation develops, your chances of acquiring work as a freelance writer or selling your work will also improve.
  • Exposure of your expertise. Develop a name for yourself as an expert in your field. When people seek information on the Internet about your topic, they will find your name. Over time, as your name shows up again and again, you will develop a reputation as an expert in your field and may be sought out by others for your expertise.
  • Placing a face to a name. Each Lawyers Line writer is given his or her own author page. This is where you can “sell” yourself as an author. On this page, you can post your photograph, and list your education, experience and interests. Below your author biography, readers will find all of your articles. This allows dedicated readers to bookmark your author page for easy access to all of your published articles.
  • Article promotion. Lawyers Line promotes its writer’s articles two ways:
    • Search engine searches – Your articles can be found by millions of people just by searching the Internet for content you have written about.
    • Lawyers Line Website – Lawyersline.net readers can find you and your articles featured throughout the website, or readers can search a particular category of interest to find your articles. Lawyersline has thousands of dedicated readers who check the website daily for new articles, news, poems, short fiction, and general information.
  • Author promotion. Writers are randomly featured throughout the website. Therefore, as readers travel around Lawyersline.net, they will see the featured writers and be able to go to that writer’s page. This gives writers additional exposure.
  • Promote and link to your personal or business website. If you currently have a personal or business website where you sell your products or services, writers privileges will allow you to promote your products and services - as often as you’d like – through your articles and the links you submit with your articles.
  • Link to Lawyersline.net. Improve your ranking in search engines with reciprocal links from Lawyersline.net. From your website(s), you may link to your author page and your articles. This is a great marketing and networking tool for any business.

Do I need writing experience or a college education to become a Lawyers Line writer?
No. All you need is good writing skills, such as spelling and grammar, knowledge about a particular topic, and the passion to write and engage your readers. All Lawyersline.net articles are reviewed by our editorial staff prior to publishing.

If I become a Lawyers Line Writer, what is expected of me?
Although we do not have any requirements of our writers per se, you will be expected to submit original, quality articles written by yourself and owned by you. We also expect you to consider your author status a privilege and therefore we expect that you will make a commitment to submit articles with some regularity.

Do I have to be a writer to submit my writing to Lawyers Line?
Yes, you must apply to become an author.

Will I be paid as a Lawyers Line Writer?
No; however, at times businesses will send free products to writers to be reviewed and written about on Lawyersline.net. Also, it is not uncommon for writers to be solicited for freelance writing work.

Do I retain ownership of my articles published on Lawyers Line?
Yes. Lawyersline.net is a "self-publishing" site. That is, when you publish with us, you are giving us permission to print articles written and owned by you. You retain all ownership. We have the right to publish your work as long as you allow it. You may remove articles from Lawyersline.net at any time, publish them elsewhere once they are removed from our website, and use them in any way you wish. The only caveat here is that you must own the article in order to publish it on Lawyersline.net. If you don't own the article, and Lawyersline.net becomes aware of this, the article will be removed from this site, and your writer account may be closed or removed entirely.

How do I submit an article? What is the process and how does it work?
Once your author application is approved, Lawyersline.net will send an email notification to you with important instructions. Once you’ve received the email, you are ready to submit articles.
Step 1: Write an article. Once you decide what you want to write about, research your topic and begin writing.
Step 2: Submit your article for editorial review. Log in to the Administration area of Lawyersline.net and submit your article information to Lawyersline.net for editorial review.
Step 3: Editorial review. Lawyersline.net’s editors will review and, if necessary, edit any grammatical errors in your article. Editorial review typically takes 1 – 2 days depending on the number of articles requiring review at that time. Once the editorial review is complete, Lawyersline.net will publish your article and send an email to you indicating that it has been published.
Step 4: Publishing. Once your article is published, you should look it over. If you need to make any changes to it, log in to the Administration area and make your changes. You will have access to it for editing purposes once it is published.

Are the writing samples I give in my writer application going to appear on Lawyersline.net?
No. All articles must be submitted by you through the Administration area on Lawyersline.net.

How do I deactivate my Lawyers Line Writer account?
We hope you'll stay with us forever. However, if you wish to deactivate your author account, contact us with your request to close your author account. Please specify if you would like your Lawyersline.net articles removed from the site, as well. Unless specified, Lawyersline.net will keep your work published on our site.
